Why Apple Watch is more important than iPhone

I agree with this. I think Health is Apple’s most important feature on the Apple Watch. The other features like notifications, watch bands, LTE, Apple Pay, etc. are all just extra to the core feature: health. This is not just walking or running as designed for athletes. This is the watch reminding you to get up and move, encourage (but not annoy) you into being more active, tracking your heart-rate over time, warning about illegular or high heart-rates, reminding you to take a mental break to just breath, etc. I really like how they cater to people of all levels of fitness even if they are athetlic, in a wheelchair, want to go swimming, or even work a desk job like me. Over the last two years Apple watch has helped me to get a handle on my stomach problems. Its helped me be more mindful of the foods I put into my body, the amount of exercise I get, my water intake (via Lifesum’s app), my general levels of stress via the heart rate app, how much sleep I’m getting by reminding me to go to bed, and more. I bought the Apple Watch for the watch and notification features, but over time its really become a personal assistant every day who not only helps me get to meetings/class on time, but reminds me to do the stuff I need to do that’s good for me. Its really helped me take control of my body and overcome what was previously a crippling problem I delt with a few times a week…making me sick and draining any energy I had during the day…I was exhausted all of the time. The Watch has been a really helpful tool for me to figure out my body and get a handle on things. Its really improved my life significantly. I’m hoping Google starts doing the same thing this year with WearOS. I would love to see more of a fitness push from them as well. They tend to help drive the price of technology down and there are more Android users worldwide. I think the more people that have access to this kind of technology whether its Apple Watch, Android Wear, or Fitbit, the better. I think its going to continue to improve and save lives going forward.
