I’ve had an iPhone 12 Pro since launch and I haven’t had any of those issues. No excessive heat, no battery drain. My iPhone is still at 99% and I’m a pretty heavy user of it. I think you got a lemon iPhone battery or MagSafe charger instead. I would reach out to Apple about it
