Good Read: “Rediscovering the Mac: An iPad User’s Journey into macOS with the M1 Max MacBook Pro”

I think Federico hits the nail on the head for a lot of iPad Pro power users. I love both my iPad Pro and my Macbook Pro, but if push came to shove, I’d still go with the Macbook Pro as my primary device and have the iPad Pro as my secondary computer. For much of what I do at work and for fun at night (Read geeky, geeky computer nerd things), it does still require a general-purpose computer. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my iPad and use it as much as I do my Mac, its the computer that I use the most at night when I’m off the clock or over this long weekend. When I go to conferences its the computer I travel with, but I do wish that it were to finally grow up into its own computing platform and push back against the Mac a bit more than it currently allowed to do because of its artificial limits placed on it by some inside of Apple
