Fantastic Friday Read: “These iOS 16 apps offer support for the new Lock Screen widgets”

9to5Mac put together a good list of lock screen widgets from iOS 16. Along with the lock screen customization, widgets are one of iOS 16’s highlight features and another way to make your phone feel more personal to you while displaying useful information when you pick it up. If you have an iPhone 14 Pro these widgets are even visible when the screen turns off. I like having my upcoming calendar appointments, the current temperature, and sunset on my lockscreen most of the time. I find lockscreen widgets to be both fun and useful. I highly recommend checking out some of these apps. Fantastical and Carrot Weather are currently two of my favorites, but I also recommend Chrome with its Chrome Dino 🦖
