Fantastic Friday Read: “The Apple Watch Action Button’s sole purpose is to do your bidding”
As somebody who hates running in the cold this article made me chuckle and a tiny bit envious of my friends with Apple Watch Ultra’s. I do wish that Apple would bring the action button to the next Apple Watch Series, but I have a feeling its going to be an Apple Watch Ultra exclusive. As a geek I just like extra buttons when I can get them. That’s why I end up buying the Pro level gear from Apple most of the time because of the extra ports and features. Its fun having the extra options and getting to play with the future today. I found the Apple Watch Ultra to be more reasonable on my wrist than I expected, but for me the normal Apple Watch Series 7 that I wear every day really covers all of my fitness needs right now and can be dressed up a bit more than the Ultra. I cannot imagine wearing the Ultra to a wedding or formal dinner, but I can put on a leather or metal band and do that with my stainless steel Apple Watch Series 7 with no problem. For me, the Ultra is a watch I strive to be active and fit enough to justify its existence in my life. I think at this point a road bike would be a better investment for me next year, but maybe after that I can set my eyes on an Apple Watch Ultra 2 or 3.
