Fantastic Friday Read: “Introducing Apple Goes Big And Bold With Three New Apple Watch Releases”
Hodinkee does a really nice job here of previewing and photographing the Apple Watch Ultra from a watch-lover’s perspective. Lots of good photos in this overview that show off the new bands and how it actually looks on a human not in a scenario that would probably mean certain death by falling off a mountain or drowning for regular people. I’m looking forward to trying on one of these watches at my nearest Apple Store. I think it’s probably going to be more watch than I need from both a size and features perspective, but it will be exciting to see Apple’s take on a rugged/extreme sports watch. Those watches are typically not really my favorite style with how blucky and thick they are, but from the photos and video that I’ve seen this week the Apple Watch Ultra is the nicest in that category by miles and miles. I also really like the new bands they announced….I fear if they fit my my Series 7 well enough that I’ll end up buying many, many of them.
